I love Photography, and image-making of all kinds.
I grew up in the turbulantly creative 1970's and 80's of New York City, a very different place than it is today. I was fortunate enough to experience the freedom of discovery in a city that was on the brink, and I found the encouragement and moxie to explore.
After studying painting and drawing, I first picked up a camera at the High School of Music & Art. Drawing things simply took too long, and I was inspired looking at the world, seeing it in passing moments. I wanted to freeze time at just the right second.
I have been visualizing the world through a camera's lens ever since.
With sweat and luck, I have had the opporotunity to travel the globe working with and photogrpahing some of the most dynamic people and locations.
